Summary of H.R - rd Congress (): Goals Educate America Act. This document reports on Utah's progress toward achieving the six National Education Goals. The goals are discussed under the following headings: (1) Readiness for School; (2) High School Completion; (3) Student Achievement and Citizenship; (4) Science and Mathematics; (5) Adult Literacy and Lifelong Learning; and (6) Safe, Disciplined, and Drug-Free Schools.

Following consideration of many reports on the status of public education, the Utah State Board of Education announces its commitment to the reform of the content, processes, and standards of public education in Utah.
